What is the CVV/CVC code? Where can I find it?

The CVV code (Card Verification Value) is a safety measure against fraud that allows the card holder to be identified. On Visa and MasterCard cards, the code is printed on the back near the space reserved for your signature and comprises 3 digits.
On American Express cards, the code is printed on the front and comprises 4 digits.
